Three Juvenile Males Charged with Second-Degree Rape in Damascus High School Assaults

Update:  Today, November 2, two additional male juvenile suspects were charged in this case.  One juvenile has been charged with three counts of second-degree rape and one juvenile has been charged with one count of attempted second-degree rape.  Both suspects are Damascus High School students.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) continue to investigate the report of assaults that occurred at Damascus High School on Wednesday, October 31.

At this time, SVID investigators have charged three juvenile males with two counts of second-degree rape and two counts of attempted second-degree rape.  Four juvenile male victims have been identified.

This investigation has determined that these sexual assaults occurred on Wednesday, October 31, in a Damascus High School male locker room after school dismissal.  The three suspects and four victims are Damascus High School students.

Last night, the juvenile suspects were taken into custody, charged, and processed at the SVID office. All charges are currently being processed through the Maryland juvenile justice system.
