Concern for Missing Wheaton Teenager and Baby

Update: November 12, 2018: Wendy Hernandez and her baby boy, Jason Hernandez, have been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Wheaton teenager and her baby boy.

Wendy Orvelina Hernandez, age 15, and her two-month-old baby boy, Jason Hernandez, were last seen by family on Tuesday, November 6 at approximately 6:30 a.m., when Wendy Hernandez took Jason and left their Valleywood Drive home on foot.  Family have been unable to contact Wendy Hernandez since that time.

Wendy Hernandez is described as a Hispanic female, 4’11” tall and weighing 130 pounds.  She has black hair and brown eyes. Jason Hernandez is described as a Hispanic male, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police and family are concerned for Wendy and Jason’s welfare.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Wendy Orvelina Hernandez or her 2-month-old baby boy, Jason Hernandez, is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours), or the Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400.
