Update: Detectives Continue to Investigate Undetermined Death in Gaithersburg

For Immediate Release: Thursday, November 15, 2018

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division and Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continue to investigate the undetermined death of a 34-year-old male who was located deceased in the roadway of Cherry Laurel Lane in Gaithersburg.  

The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) in Baltimore for an autopsy.  The results of the autopsy are pending.

The decedent is identified as Dammeon Terrell Powell of the 18300 block of Streamside Drive in Gaithersburg.

Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this death to include the possibility that a vehicle may have been involved in his death.
