Concern for Missing Woman from Bethesda

Update: December 13, 2018 - Carla Bianca Pettinelli has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking the public for help in locating a missing Bethesda woman.

Carla Bianca Pettinelli was last seen at her home in the 8000 block of Maple Ridge Road in Bethesda.  Pettinelli was last seen by a home caregiver between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm at her residence.

Pettinelli is a 69 year old, white female, 5'4", 120 pounds.  She has brown hair and is most likely wearing a black jacket, black hat, black gloves and glasses.

Family members believe that Pettinelli may be in the area of Great Falls Park. This evening, a search of the area by police found her vehicle parked and unoccupied in Great Falls Park.

Police continue to search for Pettinelli and seek the public's assistance in locating her.  Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Carla Bianca Pettinelli is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
