Concern for Missing Calverton-Area Teenager

Update: December 31, 2018: Karmen Matos has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department -Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Calverton-area teenager.

Karmen Ariyana Matos, age 16, of Hunters Gate Court, has been reported as missing by her family.  Matos is a 5’ 5” tall female who weighs 150 pounds.  She has brown eyes and black hair.  Matos has braces on her teeth with red bands.  She was last seen wearing an olive-green jacket over a black shirt, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes.

Police and family are concerned for Karmen Matos’ welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Karmen Ariyana Matos is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
