Concern for Missing Rockville Man

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, January 2, 2019

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking the public for help in locating a missing Rockville man.

James Schenk, age 40, was last known to be a resident of the Dorothy Day Place transitional housing program located at 5320 Marinelli Road. He has not been seen since December 27.

Schenk is described as a white male, 6’ 01” tall and weighs 265 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Police and shelter personnel are concerned for Schenk’s physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of James Schenk is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
