Detectives Investigate Commercial Burglary of Etchison Country Store; Surveillance Photograph of Suspect Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section continue to investigate the December 28 commercial burglary of the Etchison Country Store located at 7000 Damascus Road.  Today, detectives are releasing a surveillance photograph of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

On December 28 at approximately 3:39 a.m., 5th District officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm at the Etchison Country Store.  Responding officers determined that the suspect had gained entry into the store through a second-floor window.  The suspect stole property and fled from the store prior to officers’ arrival.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the 5th District Investigative Section at 240-773-6237.  To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).  Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspects.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
