Detectives Investigate Germantown CVS Pharmacy Armed Robbery; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate yesterday’s armed robbery of a CVS Pharmacy in Germantown. Today, investigators are releasing surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

On Tuesday, February 12 at approximately 11:45 a.m., 5th District officers responded to the CVS Pharmacy located at 19901 Frederick Road for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

The investigation by detectives revealed that the suspect entered the CVS, displayed a knife, and confronted the adult female clerk who was behind the counter. The suspect threatened the clerk and demanded cash from the register. The clerk complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect stole currency and then fled.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect or this armed robbery is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this case.
