Silver Alert Issued for Missing Bethesda Man (LOCATED)

UPDATE:  Michael Sasal has been located safe and sound.  Thanks to all who assisted in looking for him.

The Montgomery County Department of Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Bethesda man. A Silver Alert has been activated for 86-year-old Michael Roland Sasal of the 4400 block of Walsh Street. Mr. Sasal has been diagnosed with dementia.

Mr. Sasal was last seen at approximately 10:00 this morning (Friday, March 1) when he dropped of a friend at a business on Butler Road in Bethesda. Mr. Sasal left the business driving his light blue, 2009 Honda CRV with Maryland tag: 1AX6434. Family and friends have been unable to contact Mr. Sasal since that time.

Mr. Sasal is described as a white male who is approximately 5’8” tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has brown eyes and white hair. Mr. Sasal wears glasses and was last seen wearing a khaki jacket and blue jeans.

Police and family are concerned for Mr. Sasal’s welfare.

Anyone with information regarding Michael Roland Sasal’s whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
