Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Woman & Child (LOCATED)

UPDATE:  Jamayhla Ann Glassie and Genesis Sandy have been located safe and sound.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman and her child.

Jamayhla Ann Glassie, age 38, of the 9300 block of Willow Creek Drive in Gaithersburg, was last seen on the morning of Friday, March 1.  She is described as a white female, 5'7" tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds.  The provided pictures show her with long hair, but it has since been cut short.

Accompanying Glassie, is her daughter, Genesis Sandy, age 4.  She is described as being 3'0" tall, possibly wearing a leopard or cheetah print winter jacket.

Glassie was believed to have driven her vehicle to Lake Forest Mall in Gaithersburg where it was subsequently found parked.  Glassie and her child may be enroute to family or friends in another state.

Family members are concerned for Glassie and her child's welfare.
