Concern for Missing Silver Spring Juvenile (LOCATED)

Update: April 2, 2019 - Roni Diggs has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Silver Spring juvenile.

Roni Diggs, age 12, of 16th Street, was last seen at approximately 10:30 a.m. yesterday (Wednesday, March 27), when she left Sligo Middle School (located at 1401 Dennis Avenue in Silver Spring) on foot.  Diggs is described as an African American female, 5?1? tall and weighing 140 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, and a nose ring.  Diggs was last seen wearing a blue jacket over a gray t-shirt.  The t-shirt has the words “girls can do anything” written on the front.  She was also last seen wearing black leggings and pink Nike tennis shoes.

Police and family are concerned for Diggs’ welfare.
