Detectives Investigate Commercial Burglary in Olney; Photographs of Suspect Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are investigating the commercial burglary of the California Tortilla restaurant located at 18101 Village Center Drive in Olney.  Today, detectives are releasing photographs of the male suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

Investigators have determined that on March 4 at approximately 12:30 a.m., the suspect gained entry into the restaurant through the front door.  The suspect stole currency from the business and fled.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the 4th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5530. To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspect. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
