Detectives Conducting Death Investigation Following Forest Glen House Fire

For Immediate Release: Thursday, April 18, 2019

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division and Fire Explosive Investigators from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service are conducting a death investigation following a house fire that occurred early this morning in Forest Glen.

On Thursday, April 18 at approximately 6:36 a.m., 4th District officers and Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a house fire in the 2300 block of Dexter Avenue.

Fire and Rescue Service personnel located an adult male inside the residence suffering from life-threatening injuries.  The male, identified as the resident of the home, Warren Baugh III, age 43, was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, there is no foul play suspected in Baugh III’s death.
