Concern for Missing Wheaton Teenager (LOCATED)

UPDATE:  Cristal has been located safe and sound.  Thanks to all who spread the word!

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Wheaton teenager.

Cristal Tavara Samaniego, age 14, was last seen by family on Wednesday, April 24, when she left her Georgian Way home on foot.  Samaniego is described as a Hispanic female who is 5’ 6” tall and weighs 100 pounds.  She has brown eyes and black hair.

Police and family are concerned for Samaniego’s welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Cristal Tavara Samaniego is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
