Concern for Missing Man from Montgomery Village (LOCATED)

Update: May 14, 2019 - Edward Davis Jr. has been located safe and unharmed.

(May 12, 2019 - Gaithersburg, MD) - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from Montgomery Village.

Edward Davis Jr., age 71, of New Carrolton, was visiting family in Montgomery Village.  He was last seen yesterday getting into a cab around 5:00 p.m., at the Shady Grove Metro en route to Washington D.C.  Davis Jr. did not arrive at his destination in D.C.  He may have traveled through Montgomery County via Metro or a cab.

Edward Davis Jr. is described as an African American male, 5’ 11” tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He is described as having brown eyes, and balding with white hair on the side.  Davis Jr. was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and black boots.

Police are concerned for Edward Davis Jr.'s physical and emotional welfare.
