Concern for Missing Fairland Man (LOCATED)

Update: July 1, 2019 - James Sang Yu has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3^rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Fairland man.

James Sang Yu, age 52, of Hidden Valley Drive was last seen in Reston, Virginia on June 1.  Family stated that they have been unable to contact him since that time and reported Yu as missing today (June 10^th).

Yu is described as an Asian male who is 5’ 9” tall and weighs 200 pounds.   He has black hair and brown eyes.

Police and family are concerned for Yu’s physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of James Sang Yu is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours). Callers may remain anonymous.
