Concern for Missing Rockville Teenager (LOCATED)

Update: August 14, 2019 - Palace Kebra Nagast Sonogod has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Rockville teenager.

Palace Kebra Nagast Sonogod, age 17, was last seen by family on June 28 when she left her Maryland Avenue home on foot.  Sonogod is described as an African American female who is 5’ 3” tall and weighs 90 pounds.  She has black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on both forearms.

Police and family are concerned for Sonogod’s welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Palace Kebra Nagast Sonogod is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
