Concern for Missing White Oak Area Man (UPDATED)

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing White Oak area man.

Melvin Dowling, age 76, was last seen leaving the Cadia Healthcare facility located at 12325 New Hampshire Avenue on July 2 at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Dowling is described as an African American male, approximately 6’2” tall, and weighing 185 pounds.  He is bald and has brown eyes.

Dowling is possibly attempting to travel to Washington, D.C.

Police and family members are concerned for Dowling's physical welfare.
