Concern for Missing Man (UPDATED)

Update: July 9, 2019 - The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating this missing person case at this time.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police-3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public's help in locating a missing man.

Joseph Oneal Pleasants, age 64, of the 700 block of Fairmont Street, NW, in Washington, D.C., has been reported as missing by his family who resides in Silver Spring.

Pleasants was last seen on Tuesday, July 2, leaving the MedStar Washington Hospital Center located at 110 Irving Street, NW, in Washington, D.C., on foot.

Pleasants is described as an African American male, 5'11" tall, and weighing approximately 140 pounds.  He has salt and pepper hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black jacket, black plants, and black boots.

Pleasants is without his medication and police and family are concerned for his welfare.  Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Joseph Pleasants is asked to call the Montgomery County Department of Police's non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24/7).
