Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Man (LOCATED)

Update: July 9, 2019 (6:09 pm): Kevin Trang has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police-6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Gaithersburg man.

Kevin Trang, age 43, of the 16500 block of South Westland Drive in Gaithersburg, left his residence on foot on Monday, July 8, at approximately 4:00 p.m.  Trang stated that he planned on picking up food at a restaurant in the Walnut Hill shopping center.  When he did not return home, a family member called Tran, who stated that he was headed to Rockville and during another phone call stated he was in Germantown.  Family members can no longer reach Trang by phone.

Trang has medical and memory issues and police and family are concerned for his welfare.

Trang is described as an Asian male, 5’05” tall, and weighing approximately 135 pounds.  He has brown eyes and short black hair.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Kevin Trang is asked to call the Montgomery County Department of Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24/7).
