Concern for Missing North Bethesda Area Woman with Dementia (LOCATED)

Update: July 12, 2019 at 12:56 p.m. - Yi Xiao Yang has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 86-year-old North Bethesda woman who has dementia.

Yi Xiao Yang was last seen by family at approximately 8:17 p.m. yesterday (Thursday, July 11) when she left her Wyaconda Road home on foot.  Family reported that Ms. Yang has dementia and speaks mostly Chinese.

Ms. Yang is described as an Asian female who is 5-foot-tall tall and weighs 100 pounds.  She has grey hair and brown eyes.  Ms. Yang was last seen wearing a red flower print jacket and dark-colored pants.

Anyone who has information regarding Yi Xiao Yang’s whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number, 301-279-8000 (available 24/7).
