Detectives Investigate Stolen Vehicle and Thefts from Autos in Fairland Area; Surveillance Photograph of Suspect Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Patrol Investigations Unit are investigating two thefts from vehicles and a stolen auto from the same Fairland neighborhood.

Today, investigators are releasing a surveillance photograph of a male suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

The investigation by detectives determined that on Saturday, June 13th between midnight and 6:00 a.m., a Nissan Maxima was stolen from the driveway of a residence in the 2300 block of Falling Creek Road.  The investigation further established that early that same morning, two vehicles belonging to a resident on Blue Valley Drive, which is near Falling Creek Road, had been broken into and had property stolen from inside both vehicles.   On June 23rd, the stolen Maxima was located abandoned in the parking lot of the White Oak Shopping Center in White Oak.

Anyone with information regarding this suspect is asked to call the 3rd District Patrol Investigations Unit at 240-773-6830. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
