UPDATE: Roger Snyder has been reunited with his family. Thanks to all for keeping an eye out for him. He is home safe and sound!Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Burtonsville man.
Roger Eugene Snyder, age 78, was last seen at approximately 5:00 pm this evening when he left his residence located in the 16200 blocks of Dustin Court in Burtonsville. Snyder is driving a red 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe bearing a Maryland tag of DCG0084. The vehicle has an Air Force Master Chief rank sticker on the rear and a damaged front left headlight.
Snyder is described as being a white male, age 78, standing 6'00", weighing approximately 210 pounds, with brown/grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a light blue t-shirt, white shoes and possibly dark blue shorts.
Police and family are concerned for Snyder's welfare due to medical conditions affecting his cognitive memory functions. A Silver Alert has been issued.
