Concern for Missing Montgomery Village Teenager (LOCATED)

Update: July 22, 2019: Tyaysha Aquia’ Janay Waters has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Montgomery Village Juvenile.

Tyaysha Aquia’ Janay Waters, age 16, was last seen by family on Tuesday, July 16 when she left her Battleridge Place home on foot.  Waters is described as an African American female, 5’3” tall and weighing 135 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.  Waters was last seen wearing a black top, black shorts, and a pair of white Nike Air tennis shoes.

Police and family are concerned for Waters’ welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Tyaysha Aquia’ Janay Waters is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
