Concern for Missing Wheaton Area Man with Dementia (LOCATED)

Update: July 30, 2019: Herbert Wilbanks has been located safe and unharmed.

The Montgomery County Department of Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Wheaton area man who has dementia.  



Herbert Wilbanks, age 70, of Selfridge Road, was last seen leaving Medstar Montgomery Medical Center located at 18101 Prince Philip Drive in Olney on July 24 at approximately 4:00 a.m.

Wilbanks is described as a black male who is approximately 5’8? tall, weighs approximately 120 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information regarding Herbert Wilbanks' whereabouts or anyone who sees him is asked to call the Montgomery County Department of Police at 301-279-8000.
