Concern for Missing Wheaton Man (LOCATED)

Update: August 16, 2019 - Gregory Douglas McGuthrie has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Missing Persons Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Wheaton man.

Gregory Douglas McGuthrie, age 38, was last seen in late April of this year when he left his Georgia Avenue home on foot.  McGuthrie was only recently reported as missing. McGuthrie is known to frequent the Westfield Wheaton shopping mall located at 11160 Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton.

McGuthrie is described as an African American male who is 5’ 8” tall and weighs 140 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.

Police are concerned for Gregory McGuthrie’s welfare.
