Concern for Missing Germantown Man (LOCATED)

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, August 6, 2019

Update: August 8, 2019 - Caleb Ortiz has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police - 5th District Investigative Section are asking the public for help in locating a missing Germantown man.

Caleb Ortiz, age 20, of Metz Drive in Germantown, was last seen leaving his home on foot at approximately 2:00 this morning.

Ortiz is described as a black male, 5’11” tall and weighing 180 pounds.  He has brown eyes and short black hair.

Police and family are concerned for Ortiz' welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Caleb Ortiz is asked to call the Montgomery County police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
