Police Seek Public's Assistance in Locating Missing Woman from the Silver Spring Area (LOCATED)

Update: August 7, 2019 - Joni Anne Morris has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police - 3rd District Investigative Section are asking the public for help in locating a missing woman from the Silver Spring area.

Joni Anne Morris, age 51, described as a white female, standing 5'05" tall, and weighing approximately 128 pounds.  She has blonde hair and blue eyes.  Morris is from Edgewater, Maryland but was last seen in the area of the 13100 blocks of Legend Oaks Place in Silver Spring at an acquaintance's home.

Morris may be driving a silver 2016 Nissan Versa bearing a Maryland tag of 5DP2137.  She was last seen on July 30, 2019 in the Silver Spring area.

Police are concerned for Morris' emotional and physical welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Joni Anne Morris is asked to call the Montgomery County police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
