Detectives Investigate Commercial Burglary in Chevy Chase; Surveillance Video of Suspect Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section continue to investigate the burglary of a business in Chevy Chase.  Today, investigators are releasing video surveillance of the suspect and are asking for the public's help to identify him.

Investigation has determined that on June 5 at approximately 2:30 a.m., the suspect entered a rear door to the Chevy Chase Florist located at 7 Wisconsin Circle.  The suspect, wearing a blue book bag and carrying a red and black tool bag, stole items from the store.

Anyone with information regarding this burglary or the suspect involved is asked to call the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710.  Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this case.
