Concern for Missing Potomac Area Man (LOCATED)

Update: August 23, 2019 - Alan Landau has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 1st District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Potomac area man.

Alan Landau, age 77, of the 8400 block of Tuckerman Lane, was last seen this morning (August 22) at his residence at approximately 6:30 a.m.

Landau is described as a Caucasian male who is 5’ 9” tall and weighs 162 pounds.  He has gray/white hair and blue eyes.

Landau is believed to be driving his black, 2012 Mercedes-Benz E-class four-door sedan with a Maryland temporary tag.  (Investigators are working to determine the tag number).

Police are concerned for Landau's welfare.
