Police Investigating Homicide in Germantown

For Immediate Release: Monday, September 16, 2019

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating a homicide that occurred yesterday in Germantown.

On Sunday, September 15, at approximately 6:20 p.m., 5th District officers responded to the area of the 12500 block of Milestone Center Drive for the report of a injured person in the field behind the Extended Stay Hotel.  When officers arrived, they located an adult black male who was deceased.  The victim had signs of trauma to the upper body.  The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the victim's cause of death.

The identity of the victim will be released once family have been notified.
