Update: Suspect Arrested for Germantown Homicide

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division have arrested and charged Kyle Martin Noble, age 27, of an unconfirmed address, with the first-degree murder of 31-year-old Efrain Arias of an unconfirmed address.

The investigation revealed that Arias (the victim) arrived at the Extended Stay America Hotel in a vehicle. Arias was confronted by Noble as he exited the vehicle.  Noble chased Arias into a field adjacent to the parking lot of the hotel where he assaulted him and fled the scene.  A witness located Arias deceased in the field with trauma to his upper body.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore has ruled Arias' manner of death as a homicide.

Yesterday, September 17, Noble was arrested by officers on the strength of a criminal warrant.  He was transported to the Central Processing Unit (CPU) and is being held without bond.
