The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCP) in coordination with
The Embassy of the Bahamas is collecting items to send to the Bahamas to assist in the hurricane recovery efforts.
Major Crimes detectives previously traveled to the Bahamas to provide training to the
Royal Bahamas Police Force and have continued to stay in contact with the officers they met. These MCP investigators have organized this relief drive after speaking with these Royal Bahamas Police Force officers and determining current needs.
If residents are interested in donating any of the below listed items (no other items, please) to the relief effort, they can drop off the items at any of the six district police stations (open 24/7) through Thursday, October 10. Residents can place donated items in boxes that are located in the lobbies of the stations.
