Concern for Man Missing While Visiting Family in Montgomery County (LOCATED)

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a man from Trinidad who has gone missing while visiting family in Montgomery County.

Vernon Bernard, age 73, was last seen at approximately 10:00 am yesterday (September 25) at a car dealership on Cherry Hill Road in Silver Spring.  He had accompanied a family member to the location and was last seen standing by the service center.  Bernard has been staying at a residence in Gaithersburg.

Bernard is described as 5’ 06” tall and weighs 180 pounds.  He has brown eyes and short gray hair.  He has facial hair and wears glasses.  He was last seen wearing black and white plaid shorts, black sandals, and a black short sleeve shirt.

Bernard is unfamiliar with the area.
