Silver Alert issued for Missing Man (LOCATED)

UPDATE: 11/4/19 @ 3:18 p.m. - Harold Dean Dawkins has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing man with dementia.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 69-year-old Harold Dean Dawkins from Bowie, Maryland.

Mr. Dawkins, from Arbor Park Place, was last known to be driving his 2016 black Chevrolet Impala displaying Maryland tags: 1CW8658 in the area of the Old Anglers Inn (located at 10801 Macarthur Boulevard in Potomac) at approximately 10:30 this morning (Monday, November 4).  Mr. Dawkins' family has been unable to contact him since that time.

Mr. Dawkins is described as an African American male who is 5’10? tall and weighs 235 pounds. He has gray hair, brown eyes, and a gray beard.  Mr. Dawkins was last seen wearing a dark baseball hat and a dark green jacket over a maroon shirt.

Anyone with information regarding Harold Dean Dawkins’ whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
