Silver Alert Issued for Missing Leisure World Woman (LOCATED)

UPDATE: 11/14/19 @ 11:08am - Caryn Nelson has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Leisure World woman.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 74-year-old Caryn Nelson.

Caryn Nelson, from North Leisure World Boulevard, last spoke with family members on the telephone at approximately 10:00 this morning (Wednesday, November 13).  Family reported that Ms. Nelson was headed to the Silver Spring area for an appointment and was driving her 2011 dark grey Honda Accord with Maryland tags: 15990CH.  Ms. Nelson never arrived for her appointment and her family has been unable to contact her since that time.

Caryn Nelson is described as a white female who is 5’2? tall and weighs 110 pounds. She has grey hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Caryn Nelson’s whereabouts or anyone who sees her vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
