(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Juvenile from Gaithersburg

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, November 19, 2019

Update: November 19, 2019, at 6:15 p.m. - Brian Arevalo has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police- Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile from the Gaithersburg area.

Brian Arevalo, age 14, of the 700 block of Quince Orchard Boulevard, last contacted family via text message on November 17. Arevalo’s family believes he may have travelled to Laurel, Maryland.

Brian Arevalo is approximately 5’07” tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has brown eyes, short black hair, and has pierced ears. He was possibly wearing a black Nike sweatshirt with “Paris” written in white lettering, khaki pants, white sneakers, and a black backpack.

Police and family are concerned for his welfare.
