Detectives Investigate Thefts from Vehicles in Aspen Hill Area

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Patrol Investigations Unit continue to investigate two reports of thefts from vehicles that occurred in the Aspen Hill area and are believed to have been committed by the same suspects.  Today, detectives are releasing surveillance video of the two suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

The following two thefts occurred during the early morning hours of November 10.

  • Residence 1: 14000 block of Manorvale Road – Victim reported that suspects entered a vehicle in the driveway, dumped out the contents of the glove box and center counsel, and took several items.       Investigation suggests the vehicle doors were unlocked during the time of the theft.
  • Residence 2: 14000 block of Manorvale Road – Detectives reviewed home surveillance video which shows footage of both suspects. One suspect is shown entering an unlocked work van and stealing property.       The surveillance video further shows the suspect attempt to enter another vehicle in the same driveway, but the doors were locked.
