Media Advisory: 2019 Holiday Alcohol Task Force – Roll Call Tonight

WHAT:

Members of the Montgomery County Police Holiday Alcohol Task Force will be devoting their full time and attention to detecting alcohol-related offenses this holiday season.

Media is invited to the task force’s “roll call” – a briefing that occurs each evening before the officers begin to patrol the streets.

SPEAKERS WILL INCLUDE:

Captain Thomas Didone, Director of the Montgomery County Police Department’s Traffic Division

Rich Leotta, father of fallen Montgomery County Police Officer Noah Leotta.  Officer Noah Leotta was working as a member of the annual holiday task force when he was struck by a drunk driver on December 3, 2015.  He succumbed to his injuries on December 10, 2015.
