Silver Alert Issued for Missing Gaithersburg Woman (LOCATED)

UPDATE: December 14, 2019 (12:20 am) : Sydney Morse has been located safe and unharmed and is being reunited with family.  The Silver Alert has been cancelled.

The Montgomery County Department of Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Gaithersburg woman.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 74-year-old Sydney Weinzierl Morse of the 20000 block of Mattingly Terrace.  Ms. Morse is showing signs of dementia.



Ms. Morse was last known to be at the Giant store located at 18250 Flower Hill Way at approximately 4:00 p.m. today (Friday, December 13).

She is driving a 2005, light silver, Infiniti FX35 with Maryland tag: 27062M1

Ms. Morse is described as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs approximately 110 pounds, and has green eyes and red hair that may be in a ponytail.  She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black leggings.

Anyone with information regarding Sydney Morse's whereabouts or anyone who sees her vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
