Detectives Seek Public's Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Silver Spring Burglary

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police - 3rd District Investigative Section are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in a November 22 commercial burglary in Silver Spring.

On November 22, 2019, at approximately 2:56 a.m., officers from the 3rd District responded to 7849 Eastern Avenue in Silver Spring for a commercial burglary.  The investigation into the crime revealed that a suspect threw a cinder block through the window of the Enebla Carry-Out.  The suspect then proceeded to burglarize the establishment taking proceeds from the cash register.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 50-60 years in age, standing approximately 5'7" to 5'9" in height, and wearing a blue sweater and black jacket.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the 3rd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6870.
