Update: Sergio Moreira has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police - 6th District Investigative Section are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing Montgomery Village man.

Sergio Moreira is described as a Hispanic male, age 24, standing at 5'07" and weighing approximately 140 pounds. Moreira has long black hair worn in a bun, brown eyes, a full beard, both ears pierced, and a large cloud tattoo on his chest. He was last seen wearing black skinny pants, tan boots, and a jean jacket with fur lined collar.

Moreira was last seen in the area of 941 Clopper Road in Gaithersburg around 8:00 pm on the evening of December 25, 2019. He frequents and may be in the areas of Hyattsville, Adelphi, or Montgomery Village.

Police and family are concerned for Moreira's physical and mental well-being.
