(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Woman

For Immediate Release: Saturday, December 28, 2019

Update: December 30, 2019, - Nilam Gupta has been located safe and unharmed. 

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3^rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman.

Nilam Kumari Gupta, age 54, from the 11200 block of Evans Trail in Beltsville, was last seen at approximately 1:00 this morning (Saturday, December 28) when she left Holy Cross Hospital (located at 1500 Forest Glen Road in Silver Spring) in a taxi.  Family has been unable to contact her since that time.

Gupta is approximately 5’ 5? tall and weighs approximately 230 pounds.  She has brown eyes and long dark hair.  Gupta was last seen wearing a black jacket over a black blouse, jeans, and black shoes.

Police and family are concerned for Gupta’s physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone with information regarding Nilam Kumari Gupta’s whereabouts or anyone who sees her is asked to call the Montgomery County Department of Police at 301-279-8000 (available 24/7).
