Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Damascus man.
Fred Lewis Dosik, age 79, of Brigadier Place, was last seen at his residence this morning (January 3) at approximately 7:00. He left the residence at an unknown time during the day and has not returned. His roommate reports that it is uncharacteristic of Dosik to be gone for this length of time and not communicate with her about his whereabouts.
A family member reports that Dosik is showing signs of dementia and can get confused.Dosik is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. Dosik does not drive.
It is believed that Dosik was last wearing a green jacket, khaki pants, and a tan knit cap with some type of reference to Canada on it.Anyone with information regarding Fred Dosik's whereabouts or anyone who sees him is asked to call the Montgomery County Department of Police at
