Concern for Missing White Oak Area Man (Located)

For Immediate Release: Sunday, January 5, 2020

Update: January 6, 2020 (12:30 a.m.) - Alcourt Bailey, Jr., has been located and is safe and unharmed.


Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing White Oak area man.

Alcourt Hopeton Bailey, Jr., age 25, of Stewart Lane, was last seen on Sunday, January 5, at approximately noon.  Bailey has a medical condition and is in need of medication that he does not have with him.

Bailey is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and a beard.  He was last seen wearing a camouflage pattern jacket and black pants and possibly a black and white scarf around his head.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Alcourt Bailey, Jr., or anyone who sees him is asked to call the Montgomery County Department of Police at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
