Detectives Investigate Thefts from Vehicles in Montgomery Village; Surveillance Video of Suspect Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Patrol Investigations Unit are investigating the January 2 theft from a vehicle that occurred inside a residential garage in Montgomery Village.  Today, detectives are releasing surveillance video of the male suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

At approximately 5:30 in the morning on January 2, the suspect was observed on home surveillance video stealing property from a vehicle parked inside a garage attached to a home on Dellcastle Road.  During this same time period, surveillance video from other homes on Dellcastle Road also captured the suspect attempting to enter vehicles.

Detectives are investigating the possibility that this suspect is involved in additional crimes in the area.

Anyone with information regarding this suspect or these crimes is asked to call the 6th District Patrol Investigations Unit at 240-773-5745. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
