Concern for Missing Rockville Woman (LOCATED)

Update: January 14, 2020 - Kira Nitin Close has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking the public for help in locating a missing Rockville woman.

Kira Nitin Close, age 30, who is a resident of the Dorothy Day Place transitional housing program located at 5320 Marinelli Road, was last seen by staff at approximately noon on Friday, January 10.

Close is approximately 5’ 01” tall and weighs 124 pounds.  She has black hair and brown eyes.

Police and shelter personnel are concerned for Close’s physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Kira Nitin Close is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
