WHEN:

Tuesday, January 14, at 4:30 p.m.

WHERE:

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

On December 20, 2019, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a concerned resident called 911 to report that he had located a small child who was crying and walking unaccompanied on Thunderhead Way in Germantown.  Officers responded and spoke with the child, who was able to state his name and show officers where he lived on Thunderhead Way.  No one was in the child's residence, so officers began attempting to locate a parent/guardian.  The child made statements that made the officers believe that his mother was experiencing a medical emergency.

Through investigation, officers were able to locate the boy's mother in a nearby school parking lot; she was found unconscious.  Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the location and transported the mother to a local hospital for treatment.
