For Immediate Release: Thursday, January 23, 2020

Yesterday evening (Wednesday, January 22) at approximately 11:47, 3rd District Officers responded to the 7-Eleven store located at 13303 Lockwood Drive in White Oak for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

The investigation determined that the suspect entered the 7-Eleven with his face concealed and displayed a handgun. The suspect threatened an employee and demanded cash from the business. The suspect stole currency and fled. The store employee then immediately called 9-1-1 to report the robbery.

Two 3rd District officers who were already in the area and observed the suspect fleeing from the 7-Eleven pursued him on foot. The suspect was apprehended by the officers after a brief foot pursuit. An MCP K9 officer and his partner searched the area and located a .380 handgun in close proximity to where the suspect was arrested.

Detectives have charged Domonique Nicholas Walker, age 19, of an unconfirmed address, with armed robbery. Bond information for Walker is not available at this time.
