Detectives Investigate Armed Robbery in Germantown; Composites of Suspects Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police- 5th District are investigating the armed robbery of an adult male that occurred in Germantown. Today, investigators are releasing composite sketches of the two suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On Wednesday, February 5, at approximately 12:35 a.m., the 43-year-old victim was walking in the area of the 19600 block of Crystal Rock Drive when he was approached from behind by two male suspects. One of the suspects produced a handgun and demanded that the victim give him his property. The suspect threatened to kill the victim. The suspects obtained the victim’s wallet and fled on foot.

The suspect who displayed the gun is described as a light-complected African American male, approximately 6’1” tall and 220 pounds, with an athletic build, facial hair, short cropped hair, and a deep voice. He is approximately 20 to 25 years old.



The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’6” tall and 190 pounds, with black curly hair.



Both suspects were described as wearing dark clothing and hooded shirts/jackets.
